As a writer, I use words to imagine a scene, create a tone and set the mood for readers. With each keystroke, I can paint a picture — one of the gnawing uneasiness before the first kiss — one of the rushing high as the wind rippling through your hair while you're speeding down the highway, hands catching nothing but freedom as you throw them in the air to your favorite song.
In the same vein, photography acts very similarly. There are fewer words involved, but instead, I write stories with colors, light, with emotion written in the way a subject's body moves, or on the way their eyes lock into a trance with the camera lens.
Beyond photography, I'm a sucker for dogs, I love a good distance run, chocolate sprinkle donuts and spending time with my son/dog, Truman the goldendoodle.
